The Organic Agriculture Project in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (OAPTIN) is a project focusing on developing sustainable and holistic agricultural practices within Nigeria’s tertiary institutions. Founded in 2004, it aims to build capacity, develop skills and technologies related to organic agriculture, and foster a network of academics and researchers in the field. OAPTIN also provides training programs like the Work, Earn and Learn Programme (WELP) to equip graduates with practical knowledge in organic farming.
